Aiola Skills

Reuse what agents need.

Repeating instructions makes useful procedures easy to forget. Aiola discovers provider and workspace skills, previews their guidance, and attaches them to chat drafts. Save your own skills so the next conversation can reuse them.

How it works

01

Discover a skill

Useful procedures get lost across provider folders. Open Central Skills to browse discovered provider libraries, plugins, and selected workspace instructions.

02

Inspect its instructions

A skill name alone cannot explain what it will do. Open its description and rendered instructions before using it.

03

Try it in chat

Copying a procedure into a prompt is repetitive. Select Try in chat to attach the skill to a draft, then choose a workspace.

Find reusable instructions

Discover across providers

Using several coding agents can scatter reusable guidance. Browse discovered skills for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Grok CLI, OpenCode, and Antigravity.

Include workspace skills

Repository rules should be available where you work. Discovery reads workspace skill folders, including .agents/skills and .claude/skills, using the selected repository context.

Search and filter

Large skill catalogs make the right procedure hard to find. Search names and descriptions, filter providers or categories, and browse category groups.

Refresh the catalog

Changes made outside Aiola can leave the catalog outdated. Refresh Skills to reload instructions from available provider and workspace sources.

Manage your own skills

Create a skill

Repeated instructions should be written once. Choose a provider and save a named skill with a description, category, and reusable guidance.

Edit or delete

Outdated procedures can keep spreading into new work. Edit or delete user-owned skills; editing bundled Grok instructions creates a user override.

Write and preview

Hard-to-read instructions are harder to follow. Write Markdown, check Preview, choose an icon, and select or create a category.

Keep provider ownership

Skills should remain available to their coding CLI. Aiola saves new skills in the selected provider’s native directory alongside existing instructions.

Use skills in existing chats

An ongoing conversation may need another procedure. Select compatible skills from the composer slash menu or invoke supported explicit skill commands.

Problems Aiola solves here

Good instructions are scattered across folders. Central Skills collects discovered provider, plugin, and workspace instructions. Search and provider or category filters help locate a procedure.

You need to understand a skill before using it. Skill details show the description and rendered instructions. Try in chat starts a draft with that skill attached.

Repeated prompts make practices easy to forget. Create a skill with reusable Markdown instructions. Preview it before saving in the selected provider’s native directory.

External file changes leave your catalog behind. Refresh Skills reloads the available sources. Workspace discovery uses the selected repository for local guidance.

Installed guidance sometimes needs your own changes. Edit or delete user-owned skills. Editing a bundled Grok skill writes a user override while preserving the bundled file.
