Canvas terminals regain their translucent, blurred glass backgrounds, and Claude Opus 5.5 arrives with 1M context, fast mode, and the full reasoning range.

  • Canvas terminals look like glass again: The 2.0 release lost the translucent, blurred background on terminal windows in the canvas; they rendered as solid panels. The glass effect is back.

Improvements

  • Claude Opus 5.5: The new Opus model is available in the model picker, with 1M context, fast mode, and the full reasoning range.
